It also has some other uses. Any dose is safe for children with croup and respiratory tract infections. I recommend starting with 1 drop mixed with 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil under the tongue. You don’t need to add olive oil if your child is comfortable with the full strength of the oil under their tongue. To make it more digestible, you can increase the olive oil or add honey. Gradually increase the oregano oils dosage to 2 drops daily.
You can also add a few drops to your vaporizer and hot soups or salads. You can also inhale or sniff the vapors from the bottle. A few drops of the oil can also be mixed with calendula cream, tea tree oil cream, and rubbed on the chest before going to bed. There is no danger of toxicity.

Oil of oregano is a natural home remedy for yeast infections, itches, and infections of the skin, gums and teeth. Use caution if you are using it in the genital area. It is best to mix it with coconut oil or olive oil before applying (1 drop per teaspoon) These are adult doses.
There are no side effects, and oregano can be used in conjunction with prescription drugs or natural remedies. It’s a good idea for oregano oil to be used in combination with an acidophilus supplement (3 capsules daily or 1 teaspoon daily). Astragalus, barley seeds, chaparral and licorice root are all immune boosters that can be used to treat fungal infections. Mixtures of antifungals can be used at home to treat yeast infections. They are easily tolerated in Candida-zyme or Candida Cleanse.
