    • Grapes have the ability to lower cholesterol so increase your intake. The skin of grapes contains a compound that lowers cholesterol. The same goes for apples and pectin. It reduces cholesterol as well as excretes it from the intestine. This prevents our bloodstream from absorbing it.
    • Garlic is excellent for lowering cholesterol.
    • High cholesterol can also be treated with herbs. Many ailments can be treated with herbs. To lower cholesterol, you can try herbal remedies.
    • High cholesterol can be reduced by using red yeast rice. It reduces LDL (or bad cholesterol). It works in the same way as drugs to lower high cholesterol.
    • Gugulipid, an ayurvedic herb extracted from Commiphora mukul, is used to lower cholesterol and blood triglyceride levels.
